Job Description
Pacific Supply is a distributor of building products with over 40 locations throughout the Western United States and has been serving the needs of the construction industry and the communities since 1953. We are accepting resumes for a Yard Supervisor. Pacific Supply recognizes that employees are their most valuable resource and an integral part of their success. Candidates will be responsible directing and coordinating activities of yard workers engaged in loading and unloading materials. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Directs work in loading and unloading materials and in the use and care of machines and equipment. Completes all yard paperwork and documentation of incoming and outgoing material in a timely manner. Coordinates and inspects specified quantity and quality of shipments coming and going from the yard. Responsible for loading and unloading customer and company vehicles. Counts and reconciles incoming and outgoing materials. Assists all customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
Job Requirements:
Requires 1 to 3 years related yard or distribution center experience plus 1 year of lead experience preferred. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to do heavy lifting. Forklift experience required. Must have basic reading, writing and mathematical skills. Must be able to work as a team member.Benefits:
