Hourly Overview:
The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing and performing the assembly, testing, and inspection operations according to documented Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs), including cleaning and setup of workstation with proper equipment and materials. Works closely with Lead Line Coordinator and or Shift Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Train and onboard new employees online processes, safety procedures, and job expectations Responsible for keeping up with line production and rotation Maintain a clean work area Know all functions of each position on the line and be capable of running each efficiently. Performing adjustments and repairs as needed. Effective and efficient in the floor material handler position at the machine. Keeping the operators fully stocked. Demonstrate good safety awareness and be active with safety suggestions. Performs other related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational needs.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing setting. 1+ years of lead and trainer experience Experience in shop floor management within a lean environment. Computer Literate with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite and a working knowledge of ERP systems Knowledge in assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing techniques. Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on attitude
