Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure safety standards are upheld, and drive continuous process improvements. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of production teams on the assembly line, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Monitor manufacturing processes, interpret technical drawings and production documents to ensure accurate assembly and mechanical operations. Utilize measuring instruments and power tools to verify product specifications and maintain quality control throughout the production cycle. Manage manual handling and heavy lifting tasks safely, following strict safety standards in production environments. Conduct regular safety audits, enforce safety standards, and promote a culture of safety protocol adherence among team members. Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. Oversee forklift operation and warehouse activities, ensuring proper handling of materials and inventory management. Train, motivate, and manage production or assembly teams to meet daily targets while fostering a collaborative work environment. Experience Proven factory experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production management. Hands-on experience with assembly line operations, mechanical assembly, and interpreting technical drawings or manufacturing documentation. Familiarity with measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and manual handling techniques required for precise manufacturing tasks. Previous experience managing production teams in a manufacturing facility environment with a focus on safety standards in production. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices, process improvement strategies, and safety protocol adherence is highly desirable. Warehouse experience including forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with technical proficiency necessary for overseeing complex manufacturing activities. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
