Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will oversee daily operations on the factory floor, ensuring that production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, uphold safety standards, and maintain high-quality output. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining production, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards. Assist in developing and implementing the front-line leadership plan to support operational growth, reduce costs, shorten manufacturing and product introduction lead times, and improve on-time delivery. Develop and execute research plans, production targets, and cost/lead-time reduction initiatives for existing and new products. Establish and maintain uniform manufacturing methods, processes, and operating standards . Review production orders and schedules to verify product types, quantities, specifications, and required delivery dates . Develop production plans by establishing priorities, sequences, staffing requirements, and manufacturing schedules . Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production efficiency and compliance with quality specifications . Ensure manufacturing lines are properly staffed according to production requirements and adjust staffing levels as needed based on daily production demands. Review production and operating reports and resolve manufacturing, operational, and maintenance issues to minimize costs and optimize the efficient use of resources. Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure proper performance, safe operation, and optimal utilization , including robotic welding, bending equipment, and powder coating operations. Ensure manufacturing processes and equipment are properly maintained and meet established production requirements. Identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions . Apply 5S, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles to daily operations. Promote a positive, growth-oriented, and team-focused work environment among peers and direct reports. Work closely with Human Resources to address employee concerns and ensure effective communication with management. Collect, organize, maintain, and retrieve production and operational data as needed. $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
