Wilmington, NC Job Details Temp-to-hire $22 - $24 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Forklift High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Production Floor Supervisor Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on Production Floor Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and support production, safety, quality, and training objectives. This individual will coordinate employees and resources across multiple production departments while ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with established procedures. The ideal candidate is a dependable leader with manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, forklift experience, and knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday-Friday)
Pay :
$22-$24/hr Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, personnel, and resources across multiple departments. Assign work duties and communicate production expectations to employees. Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and job orders for production personnel. Monitor workflow and assist with coordinating expedited and rush orders. Determine the stock and supplies required to meet production schedules. Request necessary materials from designated storage areas. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production environment. Enforce company safety policies, procedures, and proper equipment usage. Support lean manufacturing tools and continuous-improvement initiatives. Assist with day-to-day departmental operations as needed. Direct Team Leads in cross-training production employees. Ensure employees follow established quality standards and inspection procedures. Address production issues and help resolve problems in a timely manner. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least three months of similar or related manufacturing or supervisory experience. Previous experience operating a forklift. Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and techniques is preferred. #IND1
