Job Description

Installation Planning & Capacity Supervisor We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Installation Planning & Capacity Supervisor to lead our installation planning function and ensure every project is set up for success. The position requires someone who shares our commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience through operational excellence, teamwork, and accountability This role is responsible for installation scheduling, workforce capacity planning, project readiness, and overseeing a team focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage competing priorities, and has a passion for developing people, improving processes, and holding teams accountable. This position has direct leadership responsibilities, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and termination decisions. Coordinate labor resources, crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment to ensure projects are completed on time. Balance installation workloads across multiple product lines and geographic areas. Identify scheduling conflicts and proactively implement solutions before customer impacts occur. Monitor future capacity requirements and make recommendations to support company growth. Project Readiness & Execution Ensure projects are installation-ready prior to scheduling. Verify all measurements, permits, materials, paperwork, contracts, and installation requirements are complete and accurate. Work closely with sales, production, warehouse, and installation teams to eliminate job readiness issues. Develop and maintain project planning processes that improve first-time completion rates and reduce callbacks. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Customer Experience Leadership Champion a customer-first mindset throughout the job readiness and scheduling process. Ensure scheduling timelines and customer expectations are communicated clearly and professionally. Quickly resolve customer concerns, scheduling challenges, and project escalations. Partner with field leadership to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Drive operational decisions that enhance the overall customer experience. Team Leadership & Accountability Lead, coach, mentor, and develop scheduling and planning personnel. Establish performance expectations and ensure accountability to company standards. Conduct hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and termination decisions when necessary. Create an environment of teamwork, positivity, accountability, and continuous improvement. Encourage collaboration across all departments to achieve company goals. Capacity Planning & Operational Excellence Analyze installation capacity, labor utilization, and future workload demands. Monitor key operational metrics and implement corrective actions when needed. Continuously seek opportunities to improve planning accuracy, scheduling efficiency, and operational performance. What We're Looking For 5+ years of leadership experience in operations, scheduling, project management, construction, installation, home remodeling, or a related field. Strong organizational and project planning skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience leading teams and holding employees accountable to performance expectations. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Strong computer and software proficiency. Ability to make confident decisions while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
