Production Supervisor Company Overview A growing food manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead shift operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and team performance while ensuring production schedules are achieved efficiently. Position Summary Lead and coordinate production personnel across multiple manufacturing lines to achieve daily production targets. Maintain communication with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Leadership teams to minimize downtime and schedule disruptions. Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, quality, and workplace safety standards throughout the shift. Key Responsibilities Direct staffing, production scheduling, material availability, and line startup activities to ensure efficient operations. Monitor production performance, product quality, equipment effectiveness, downtime, and inventory usage while meeting throughput goals. Oversee employee training, attendance, performance management, reporting, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Leadership & Operational Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Review production metrics, labor utilization, and operational reports to drive efficiency and cost control. Support a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and operational excellence across all shift personnel. Qualifications Strong leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within food, beverage, bakery, or consumer packaged goods operations. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and effectively communicate with employees at all levels. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems; experience with workforce scheduling and performance management preferred. Education & Experience Associate degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and manufacturing leadership experience will be considered. 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing or a related production environment preferred. Experience leading teams in a high-speed manufacturing setting with responsibility for safety, quality, and productivity metrics. #JDP
