Job Description

About the Position We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse supporting a fast-paced audiovisual and lighting production company. This is a position with a high level of responsibility. The right candidate will take ownership of the warehouse, manage inventory and equipment, coordinate logistics, and ensure the warehouse is organized and equipment is ready for upcoming productions and events. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, proactive, creative, and a strong team player . He/She should be comfortable working independently, solving problems, adapting to last-minute changes, and coordinating a team when needed. Experience with lighting equipment, visual production, live events, entertainment, or production environments is a plus, but not required. Ability to lift over 50lbs. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations, organization, and efficiency of the warehouse. Manage and maintain accurate inventory of lighting and visual production equipment. Receive, check, organize, prepare, and load equipment for productions. Ensure returned equipment is checked, accounted for, functional and properly stored. Track equipment movements, damages, shortages, and discrepancies. Keep equipment organized and ready for deployment. Ability to oversee equipment staging, truck loading, quality control checks, and shipping/receiving dock operations Prioritize equipment usage, deadlines, and last-minute changes across multiple projects. Track all equipment rentals and returns. Coordinate and direct warehouse staff or temporary teams as needed. Work closely with project managers, production teams, drivers, and company leadership. Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient warehouse. Create and follow procedures to improve workflow and maximize warehouse space. Monitor warehouse supplies, purchasing, and operational expenses. Identify problems early and propose creative, practical solutions. Work hands-on with the team and step in wherever is needed to get the job done. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, warehouse supervision, or a similar role. Strong inventory management and organizational skills. Experience in a fast-paced, project-based environment is preferred. Experience with inventory, CRM, ERP, WMS, or similar software. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines. Ability to coordinate and direct a team. Valid driver's license required. CDL is a plus. Forklift and box-truck experience preferred. Experience with lighting, visual production, live events, entertainment, or production equipment is a plus. Fluency in English required;knowledge of other languages a plus. Must be able to work on-site in Kenilworth, NJ and reside within a reasonable commuting distance from site. Evenings, weekends, and overnight availability as required by production schedules.
