Sheet Metal Setup Manager Peerless Coatings LLC Towaco, NJ Job Details Full-time $80,000 - $100,000 a year 6 hours ago Qualifications Sheet metal fabrication Warehouse experience Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Setup Manager to lead our sheet metal fabrication operations. In this role, you will oversee the setup and preparation of various sheet metal machinery, ensuring efficient production workflows and high-quality output. Responsibilities Review work orders, drawings, and production requirements. Prepare sheet metal materials, tools, and equipment. Set up and oversee machines such as brakes, shears, spot welding, CNC punches, Timesaver (sanding), and cutting equipment. Check measurements, machine settings, and first-piece quality. Organize and stage materials for production. Lead and support setup and warehouse employees. Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and shipping teams. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Report material shortages, equipment problems, and quality issues. Help reduce setup time, waste, and production delays. Skills Experience with sheet metal fabrication and warehouse operations. Ability to read blueprints and work orders. Knowledge of sheet metal materials, tools, and equipment. Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to safely lift materials and work around machinery.
