Day Shift:
6:30 AM - 7:00
PM Night Shift:
6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend $3.00/hour night shift differential Long-term stability with a family-owned company Opportunity to lead people and influence operational results Strong safety culture and commitment to continuous improvement Clear pathway into Supervisor and operations leadership roles Why This Role Matters As a Group Leader, you'll lead a team of production employees and oversee a designated group of machines throughout your shift. You'll help keep production running smoothly, support employee development, solve problems before they become downtime, and ensure safety and quality standards are met every day. This role serves as a key leadership position between production employees and Supervisors and is often the next step for individuals who aspire to grow into a Supervisor role. What You'll Do Lead and support a group of production employees and work centers during your shift Ensure materials, components, and supplies are available to support uninterrupted production Monitor production performance, downtime, scrap, and reporting accuracy Verify employees are trained, qualified, and following standard work procedures Coordinate job changes, line clearances, setups, and work order transitions Assign break and relief coverage and support daily staffing needs Promote and enforce PPE, GMP, safety, and quality requirements Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready work areas consistent with 5S standards Review production documentation for accuracy and completeness Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance expectations Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and organization Fill in for the Supervisor and lead shift meetings when necessary Model our core value: OWN IT What We're Looking For Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to develop employees while holding them accountable to expectations Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced operation Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Bilingual English and Spanish Previous leadership, team lead, trainer, or supervisory experience Experience working in GMP, ISO, Lean, or 5S manufacturing environments Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment, processes, and production workflows Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift Preferred (Not Required) Injection molding and/or blow molding experience Experience with IQMS or similar ERP/manufacturing software Inventory control experience Career Growth This role is a natural next step for Lead Operators, Setup Technicians, Team Leads, and acting Supervisors who want to grow into operations leadership.
