Senior Production Manager Newark, NJ $120,000 - $150,000 + Bonus Days | Monday - Friday Food Manufacturing We're recruiting for a hands-on Senior Production Manager to join a leading food manufacturer in Newark, NJ. Reporting directly to the COO, this is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving production performance across multiple manufacturing facilities. You'll spend your time on the plant floor leading teams, improving processes and delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Lead daily operations across multiple production facilities and a frozen distribution warehouse Drive production performance, throughput and operational efficiency Lead and develop large multi-shift production teams Ensure efficient conversion of raw materials into finished products Identify production bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives Partner with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and plant uptime Ensure compliance with USDA, SQF and food safety standards Lead SQF and third-party audit preparation Train, coach and develop production teams Support operational growth and future site expansion What We're Looking For Proven leadership experience within a food manufacturing or food processing environment Experience managing large production teams in high-volume manufacturing Strong knowledge of USDA regulations, SQF and food safety standards Experience improving production performance and operational efficiency ERP system experience (SAP, NetSuite or SAP Business One preferred) Hands-on leadership style with a continuous improvement mindset Apply Click Apply or contact: Mark Watton 215-999-6430 mark@axionrecruitment.com
