Job Overview The Sheet Metal Production Manager is responsible for overseeing sheet metal production operations supporting both building restoration and new construction projects across Extech's NY and NJ locations. This role manages a team of 10 across two branches and is accountable for production scheduling, quality control, equipment oversight, safety compliance, inventory management, personnel and payroll administration, and order processing. The ideal candidate combines strong technical sheet metal knowledge with proven leadership ability. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage production schedules for sheet metal fabrication across restoration and new construction projects Oversee quality control processes to ensure all fabricated products meet specifications and industry standards Manage and maintain production equipment and machinery, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe production floor environment Oversee inventory management, including raw materials and finished goods across both locations Manage payroll and personnel functions for a team of 10 across NY and NJ, including scheduling, performance management, and hiring Coordinate order processing, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders Direct organization and planning of daily production operations across both branches Oversee fabrication, forming, cutting, stamping, flashing, and coping processes for sheet metal products Read and interpret blueprints to guide production and ensure specifications are met Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in sheet metal production, with demonstrated leadership experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with P21 (Prophet 21) or similar ERP system Ability to read and interpret blueprints Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Strong leadership and team management skills Demonstrated ability to manage payroll and personnel functions Ability to travel between NY and NJ locations as needed Join us as a Sheet Metal Production Manager where your expertise will shape the future of our manufacturing excellence! Pay:

$110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
