Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing and production processes within our aerospace division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, coordinating production activities, and ensuring that projects meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in aerospace manufacturing, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The Aerospace Production Manager will play a key role in bid preparation and project planning to support business growth. Duties Lead and supervise the aerospace production team to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes. Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of production activities in accordance with project specifications and deadlines. Bid new work estimates by assessing project requirements, resources, and timelines to generate accurate proposals. Generate production work travelers when work is awarded, ensuring proper documentation for each project phase. Coordinate with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to maintain seamless operations. Monitor production performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with industry safety standards, regulations, and company policies. Manage inventory levels of materials and components necessary for production schedules. Facilitate communication between departments to resolve issues promptly and maintain workflow efficiency. Prepare reports on production status, challenges, and opportunities for process optimization. Skills Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing or related high-tech industries with a strong understanding of aerospace production processes. Excellent leadership and team management skills to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment. Strong project management abilities, including bid estimation, planning, and execution oversight. Proficiency in generating work travelers and other technical documentation related to aerospace projects. Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards (such as AS9100), and industry best practices. Effective communication skills for coordinating across multiple departments and stakeholders. Technical aptitude with familiarity in manufacturing software systems and tools used in aerospace production management. Pay:
$67,120.00 - $83,200.00 per year
