Night Shift 3pm-11pm We are seeking a highly experienced Structural Steel Shop Foreman to lead our fabrication team. This full-time role requires a strong leader with deep knowledge of AISC standards, blueprint reading, and weld procedures to oversee daily shop operations, enforce strict safety protocols, and ensure projects are completed on time and within Duties Manage daily fabrication schedules and assign tasks to fitters and welders. Enforce AISC standards and inspect finished welds and assemblies for accuracy. Read, interpret, and explain complex structural steel shop drawings. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently. Skills Proficient in reading shop drawings, weld symbols, and bill of materials Experience with sheet metal fabrication is preferred. Strong ability in blueprint reading for accurate assembly and fitting of components. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects. Familiarity with overhead cranes, ironworkers, band saws, and plasma tables. Previous experience working on construction sites is a plus.
