Job Description

Must have 4+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
Previous experience with a beverage, food or liquid consumer products manufacturer is a plus.
Knowledge with GMPs, sanitation standards and FDA requirements is preferred.
Knowledge of several lines of equipment, e.g., blow molder, fillers, labelers, palletizers, conveyors, injection molding and water processing.
Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
Knowledge of SQF Code and requirements is preferred but not required.
Flexible hours to manage multiple shifts.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Supervisory experience is requiredExperience with MS Office, Excel, and Power Point is required and J.D. Edwards software experience is preferred but not required.
Exceptional communication skills oral and written.
HAACP and PCQI certified preferred but not required. Must be able to become HAACP and PCQI certified once employed.
Assist with our annual SQF audit, including resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions.
Experience in training operators in equipment standard operational procedures.
Ensure on time delivery of our products to internal customers as dictated by the production schedule.
Assist and develop SOPs when needed.
Enforce and maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the facility.
Ensure the proper maintenance, care, and safe operation of all machinery, tools, forklifts, racking, and other facility equipment.
Communicate promptly and effectively with management team members regarding any issues, concerns, changes, or operational needs.
Drive OEE improvement by maximizing equipment availability, performance, efficiency, and product quality.
Verification of electronic time sheets for accuracy relating to hours worked by employees.
Supervise, direct, and motivate the efforts of personnel in the Production area of responsibility.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Non-Essential Job Duties Will perform other related work as required. In the absence of this employee, the direct manager or appointee will cover responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing shift leads, production department, injection molding, warehouse and related maintenance activities. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe work group that is focused on safety, quality, customer service, people development, and producing a high-quality product. Knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus. This role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to gain a well-rounded base of experience in both operations and management.- This is a true hands-on position; majority of the time is spent on the production floor.
- Work schedule has not been determined but some work hours will include night shift and it will be discussed during the interview.
- Successful candidates will be required to work one day either (Saturday or Sunday) as part of their regular work schedule.
- The pay range is ($65K
- $78K) and compensation will be determined based on experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience preferred.Must have 4+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
