Switzer, a precision metal components manufacturer in Blasdell, NY is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their growing team! Switzer believes in pursuing perfection and leveraging the best technology to meet client needs. The Production Supervisor will lead the production that product leaving the operation is on time and of the highest quality. Successful candidates will possess a well-rounded knowledge of production processes and ability to apply strategy in a growing organization. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position will lead the production plan and work closely with all other departments to ensure a smooth production process.

Responsibilities include:

Assuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. Maintaining accurate inventories. Supporting staff management, including reviewing time cards and evaluating production team performance along with the Director of Operations. Performing daily standard work to guarantee accuracy of labor, material, and inventory transactions. Assigning operators to achieve daily production schedule, and work with scheduling/planning to adjust when necessary. Ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient work environment

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred 3+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a manufacturing environment including scheduling, inventory management, safety, quality control and employee management Bachelor's degree preferred.
