2989446749-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Superior Metals Manufacturing seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor for weekend night shifts. Lead a small team in metal fabrication, machining, and finishing operations while maintaining strict safety, quality, and productivity standards. Coordinate schedules, assign work, and monitor workflow to ensure on-time delivery for industrial and commercial customers. Troubleshoot production issues, support equipment changeovers, and verify first-piece and in-process inspections. Train and coach operators, enforce 5S and lean practices, and document production data. Partner with maintenance, quality, and engineering to drive continuous improvement and meet customer specifications. Responsibilities Supervise weekend night shift production team in metal fabrication and machining areas. Coordinate schedules, staffing, and daily work assignments to meet production targets. Monitor safety, quality, and productivity, enforcing company and OSHA standards. Troubleshoot production and equipment issues, escalating to maintenance when needed. Verify first-piece and in-process inspections to meet customer specifications. Train and coach operators on procedures, safety, and quality expectations. Maintain accurate production, downtime, and material usage records. Implement and sustain 5 S and lean manufacturing practices on the shop floor. Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and engineering to resolve issues and improve processes. Support continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce defects.
