Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Extrusion Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operators. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure adherence to safety standards, and drive continuous process improvements. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all activities on the extrusion production line, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Monitor manufacturing processes, utilizing measuring instruments and technical drawings to maintain product specifications. Lead safety protocol adherence by enforcing safety standards in production areas and conducting regular safety audits. Manage and train production team members, including managing assembly line tasks and manual handling procedures. Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to optimize productivity and reduce waste. Conduct quality checks using hand tools and measuring instruments, ensuring products meet quality standards. Maintain accurate production documentation, interpret technical drawings, and ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures. Requirements Proven factory experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing facility operations. Hands-on experience with extrusion or similar manufacturing processes. Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Experience managing production or assembly teams within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with safety standards in production, lean manufacturing principles, and process improvement strategies. Ability to interpret production documents accurately. Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and operating forklifts or warehouse equipment as needed. Strong organizational skills with experience in managing warehouse or factory operations.
