The 3rd shift Ice Cream Production Manager leads the ice cream manufacturing shift in creating exceptional quality ice-cream within parameters of production goals, safety and all day-to-day production activities.
Key Performance Responsibilities:
Lead 3rd shift Ice Cream Production and supervise Ice Cream Technicians, ensuring the Ice Cream room meets high standards for safety, quality, and output while protecting product integrity. Build and manage a strong team by training, coaching, developing capabilities, and completing the interview and hiring process for Ice Cream Technicians. Perform all core Ice Cream room functions to established standards and evaluate proficiency; assist on the production floor as needed to support operations, observe work, and coach employees. Maintain appropriate supply levels by conducting physical inventories of finished products and raw materials and ordering supplies to par levels. Coordinates with production team members, leadership, warehouse, process and others to evaluate and resolve complex operational issues. Complete other duties and projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
5+ year's work experience in a food and beverage manufacturing environment High-level familiarity and involvement with
GMP, HACCP, FDA, SSOP
Leadership:
2+ years of supervisory experience of multiple employees.
Education:
Associates and/or Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience.
