This role ensures that safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are met by effectively leading hourly employees, coordinating workflow, and maintaining a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Production & Operations Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedule, quality, and cost targets Ensure work orders are completed accurately and on time Communicate production priorities and shift goals to team members Troubleshoot production issues and escalate when necessary Safety & Compliance Enforce all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations as needed Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and quality standards People Leadership Lead, coach, and motivate production employees to achieve performance goals Assign work, balance staffing, and manage overtime as required Train new employees and cross-train existing team members Address performance issues and participate in disciplinary actions per company policy Quality & Continuous Improvement Ensure products meet quality specifications and customer requirements Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve issues Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, lean manufacturing, waste reduction) Monitor scrap, rework, and downtime and drive corrective actions Communication & Reporting Complete shift reports, production logs, and attendance records Communicate shift performance, issues, and handoff information to other supervisors Participate in daily production meetings and plant initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 3 years of experience in production supervision or 2-year degree from an accredited university or college with at least 5 years of experience in production supervision. Engineering background preferred. Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and problem solving and analytical skills. Must be able to handle multiple priorities, act independently, and use sound judgment. Knowledge of manufacturing policies and regulations. Proficiency with applicable computer systems and software (Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP systems).
