Sign Shop Foreman

Job Title:

Shop Foreman Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Foreman to oversee daily production operations in our sign manufacturing facility. This individual will manage a team of eight employees, help improve shop efficiency, troubleshoot production challenges, and ensure projects are completed on time and to our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of 8 shop employees Maintain workflow and keep team members focused and productive Identify and resolve production issues to prevent delays Improve shop efficiency, processes, and overall organization Ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule Assist with scheduling and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines Monitor quality control throughout fabrication and assembly Maintain a safe and clean work environment Communicate effectively with project managers and office staff Train and mentor employees to improve performance and skill development

Qualifications:

Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or sign fabrication environment Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Excellent organizational and leadership skills Ability to motivate employees and maintain accountability Knowledge of sign fabrication, welding, electrical processes preferred Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and production specifications Commitment to quality, efficiency, and meeting deadlines

Pay:

$62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
