Responsibilities:

Lead daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and output targets are met on your shift. Plan and prioritize work based on production schedules, customer demand, and available resources. Assign, coach, and develop production employees to build a strong, reliable, and engaged team. Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles such as 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction. Monitor key performance metrics like efficiency, scrap, downtime, and safety, taking action when trends arise. Partner with maintenance, quality, shipping/receiving, and planning teams to keep operations running smoothly. Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE usage, and machine operating procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Proven experience leading hourly production teams, preferably in a multi-shift operation Continuous improvement mindset; actively working toward or willing to obtain Lean or Green Belt certification Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and shop-floor problem solving Ability to coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable in a respectful, hands-on way Comfortable using basic data and reports (KPIs, production numbers, downtime, scrap) to drive decisions. Proficiency in MS Office and strong English communication skills (spoken and written) Openness to working 2nd or 3rd Shift.
