Scope of Responsibility:

Responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing the production process to ensure that material is produced efficiently, on time and to a quality standard that meets the needs of the customer.

Essential Duties:

Oversee production process from start to finishMonitor production processes and adjust schedules as neededWork in conjunction with HR to identify personnel needsCoordinate with foremen to implement company's policies and goalsImplement procedures to maintain a healthy and safe environment for production personnelInterface with purchasing personnel to coordinate delivery of material required for productionConduct reviews of foremenExtensive knowledge in material flow and production processesInterface with Quality to maintain high level of product qualityCommunicate work between shifts for smooth production and process flowDevelop and maintain a cohesive team across departments and shiftsAdditional duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma, or equivalentMinimum of 5 years management experience in a manufacturing facilityExtensive knowledge of Mig welding processAbility to produce and maintain production scheduleAbility to supervise a diverse group of production personnelPossess strong communication and conflict resolution skillsMust have knowledge of AWS requirements for welded structuresAbility to read and interpret blueprints

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materialsMust be able to work in an outside manufacturing environment for long shifts, including weekendsPosition requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individualMust be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperaturesMust have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources At Sabre Industries, we invest in your future with a competitive benefits program.
