AM Role Purpose:

The production supervisor consistently challenges each aspect of the production process to improve product margin. Work closely with the Plant Manager to enhance production throughput and On Time Delivery (OTD). Research, analyze, validate, and document the effectiveness of existing production processes and develop strategies for meeting the Humanetics Safety Division's goals and objectives. Supervise the respective department and maintain OTD requirements to the customer via daily throughput analysis and driving completion to the TOP 5 customer orders. Apply manufacturing and operations principles to production management functions to drive success within the department. Education and/or

Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years previous Lead and/or Supervisory and practical work experience within a manufacturing facility preferably in High-Mix, Low-Volume (HMLV) Manufacturing. Must lead an organization successfully by coordinating policies, people, and resources. Promote a productive work environment with high employee engagement levels. Experience in direct line management. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills are required to drive operational objectives. Maintains a high degree of technical proficiency and understanding of sales and production processes. Strong knowledge and exposure to manufacturing processes and production issues The ability to gather, analyze, and interpret demand data to inform/support continuous improvement and strategy development. Must have proven project management skills and experience, advanced influencing capabilities, the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, and a team-building work style.
