Group Leader Job Details Schedule :
Core hours 10:45 PM-7:15 AM; schedule may change based on production needs and coverage. Training will be provided on 1st shift for approximately 2-3 months.

Lebanon, OH Group Leader Requirements/Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred. 1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Ability to learn company systems quickly. Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to understand and communicate production and planning information clearly. Customer-focused approach with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Dependable, collaborative, and proactive team player. Ability to support continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to work a full-time schedule with possible overtime. Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Ability to remain stationary and move throughout the workplace as required. Ability to perform occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Ability to read printed and digital materials and assess product quality and equipment indicators. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and use required PPE. About the Group Leader Role As a Group Leader, your responsibilities will include: Provide daily direction to team leaders and plant associates to support safe, efficient production. Conduct shift communication meetings at the beginning of each shift. Oversee work centers and coordinate production activities throughout the shift. Control the flow and schedule of work to meet customer volume and production requirements. Track attendance, hours worked, and time-off requests. Monitor working hours and communicate overtime requirements as needed. Prepare end-of-shift reports covering KPIs and metrics such as OEE, scrap, downtime, and attendance. Report major or recurring production issues and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Monitor product quality, raw materials, racks, and production processes and take corrective action when needed. Train associates and ensure team members have the skills needed to perform their jobs safely and effectively. Promote a strong safety culture and enforce PPE, safety procedures, and 5S standards. Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and work with HR regarding performance or disciplinary concerns. Partner with maintenance on equipment issues, repairs, and ongoing machine maintenance. Perform cycle counts, process reviews, and inventory counts with Engineering, Quality, Materials, and Maintenance teams. Conduct shift handoff meetings with incoming and outgoing Group Leaders to communicate safety, quality, production, and maintenance concerns. Support company safety, environmental, health, and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned.
