Job Description The Process Owner leads a cross-functional line leadership team, partnering with the Maintenance Reliability Engineer and Continuous Improvement Lead to identify top losses, improve processes, and drive operational performance on their assigned production line. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day line operations and ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, productivity, sanitation, efficiency, and employee engagement objectives through the effective implementation of the Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS). The Process Owner leads, coaches, and develops their team to deliver business results, drive operational improvements, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a commitment to safety, quality, productivity, cost savings, and operational excellence. Flexibility to support off-shift operations when needed is also required.Key Responsibilities:
Lead a cross-functional production line team, partnering closely with maintenance and continuous improvement resources to eliminate losses and improve line performance. Drive execution of the Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS) and support the implementation of operational excellence standards and pillar activities. Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including safety, quality, OEE, yield, labor efficiency, and asset utilization. Lead structured performance review and problem-solving routines to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions. Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, sanitation, environmental, and workplace safety programs, including GMP, HACCP, and quality management standards. Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, equipment reliability improvements, standard work, and waste reduction projects. Coach and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and teamwork. Ensure effective communication and documentation across shifts, including operational standards, work instructions, and continuous improvement activities. Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to achieve plant objectives.Qualifications:
Education High school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Lean Six Sigma certification preferred. Experience 2+ years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience, in a food manufacturing environment preferred. Experience leading teams and driving process improvements. Strong understanding of safety, quality, and operational performance metrics. Skills Strong leadership, communication, and coaching abilities. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and KPI reporting tools. Additional Requirements Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Flexibility to support off-shift operations as needed. Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. $77,800.00- $97,300.
Bonus:
This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
