ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Production Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision and coordination of activities for employees assigned. Oversee performance of employees relating to training, productivity, attendance and adherence to company policy and procedures. Support Quality & Supply Chain activities to ensure production performance. Flexibility of scheduled working time to support production and coverage of similar roles.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures labor and production lines are being scheduled efficiently, accommodating sudden changes or needs based on sales or volume changes. Testing of products, customer samples, and raw materials. Assigning batch sheets and processing shop packets. Report issues and initiates MRB'S and deviations. Oversees cycle count program to support accuracy of inventory. Ensure all company safety rules, production standards, attendance expectations, and workplace conduct requirement are followed by employees Administer communications: Alert Notices, Shift Reporting, Safety, KPI's, Schedule Changes Assist with basic cleaning, housekeeping, production floor organization, warehouse organization, and other production support tasks as needed, utilizing 6S. Perform the start-up and shut down procedures for the plant and equipment. Back-up Support for 1st Shift Production Supervisor when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school education or equivalent 3 to 6 years industrial manufacturing experience 1-3 years previous supervisory experience, preferably in a Union Environment Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. High stress tolerance, as the role often requires rapid decision-making to address unexpected shop floor emergencies or shifting customer demand.

From $75,000.00 per year
