2nd Shift Production Supervisor - Injection Molding Monday-Friday | 2:30 PM-11:15 PM We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor with a strong background in plastic injection molding and processing. This is a hands-on working supervisor position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable being on the production floor, working directly with employees, troubleshooting molding and production issues, maintaining production flow, and making sure quality and productivity expectations are met. You will supervise approximately 10-20 production employees and work closely with Maintenance, Quality, and Management. Responsibilities Supervise and support 2nd shift production employees Review production schedules and prioritize work throughout the shift Assign employees to machines and adjust staffing as production needs change Monitor production output, quality, scrap, and efficiency Troubleshoot injection molding and processing issues Assist with setups, material handling, and production needs when necessary Perform quality checks and respond quickly to production or quality problems Train, coach, and develop production employees Address attendance, performance, and employee issues Identify opportunities to improve production methods, cycle times, equipment performance, and quality Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality to resolve equipment and production problems Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment Ensure production goals and schedules are met Qualifications Previous plastic injection molding and processing experience required Previous manufacturing supervisory, lead, or production leadership experience Strong understanding of injection molding processes and troubleshooting Ability to identify and resolve production and quality problems Ability to read and understand production schedules and specifications Strong mechanical and problem-solving abilities Good communication and leadership skills Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a production team Willingness to work hands-on and assist on the production floor when needed Schedule Monday-Friday 2:30 PM-11:15 PM Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Medical insurance with HSA option Dental and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Short-term disability Company-paid life insurance Supplemental insurance options Paid time off Company-paid holidays Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate We are looking for someone who understands injection molding, knows how to troubleshoot production problems, can hold employees accountable, and is willing to jump in when needed.
