Job Description

100% onsite- Must be able to work any shift and 15 hours of OT per week. Paid hourly (and time and a half for anything over 40 hours per week). he Material Handling Supervisor leads a team of hourly employees to ensure materials are received, moved, and delivered efficiently to support daily production goals. This role oversees inventory, equipment, employee performance, and problem-solving to keep operations running smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities Supervise material receiving, storage, and delivery activities. Ensure production lines have the materials needed to meet daily production targets. Resolve material flow and operational issues quickly to prevent production delays. Manage employee attendance, training, performance, and workforce scheduling. Work with union representatives to address employee concerns and maintain positive labor relations. Monitor and replenish production line inventory levels. Oversee material handling equipment, including safe operation and routine maintenance. Track and report daily safety, quality, productivity, and inventory performance metrics. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Ability to work any shift, including overtime as needed. Solid work histyory Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Good verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Public speaking and team leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications At least 18 months of manufacturing or supervisory/Team Lead experience. Experience working in a unionized environment. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
