Full-time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Shop Floor Foreman to oversee daily production activities on first shift. This individual will lead employees, coordinate workflow, maintain production schedules, and ensure all work meets company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a dependable leader who is comfortable working directly on the shop floor, solving production issues, and holding employees accountable while maintaining a positive team environment. Responsibilities Supervise and support production employees throughout the shift Assign daily work and coordinate labor based on production priorities Monitor workflow to ensure production goals and deadlines are met Train, coach, and provide direction to shop employees Enforce company safety procedures and workplace policies Monitor product quality and address production concerns Troubleshoot equipment, material, and workflow issues Communicate production updates and staffing needs to management Track attendance, employee performance, and production results Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment Assist with production work when necessary Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement Qualifications Previous manufacturing leadership, foreman, lead, or supervisory experience required Strong understanding of shop-floor production processes Ability to lead employees and manage multiple priorities Strong communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable addressing attendance, performance, and quality concerns Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and basic blueprints is preferred Mechanically inclined with hands-on manufacturing experience Must be dependable and willing to work additional hours when needed High school diploma or GED preferred
