Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION
Direct and supervise the day-to-day activities of production team members while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in the manufacturing environment. This role works closely with Plant Management, Manufacturing Management, and other teams to support timely and effective operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and coordinate the daily operation of production equipment and personnel. Provide direction, assignments, coaching, and training to employees to promote proactive problem-solving. Monitor KPIs, adjust processes, and track performance to achieve safety, quality, and delivery targets. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with work instructions, process parameters, and company standards. Enforce safety policies, conduct required training and lead daily/weekly team meetings. Support production planning, scheduling adjustments, and process improvements. Track attendance, administer discipline, and maintain accurate records in HR and reporting systems. Collaborate with other departments to ensure on-time delivery and proper product labeling. Maintain a clean and organized work environment through 3S and Total Productive Maintenance activities. Prepare and maintain daily reports, shipping schedules, and other production-related documentation. Provide guidance and support to team members throughout assigned shifts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years of Supervisory experience preferred. Associate degree or equivalent, plus five (5) years of knowledge in production processes preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly recommended but not required. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach and develop employees. Experience in production planning, process improvement, and problem-solving. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer systems. Must hold or obtain CPR, First Aid, and AED certification within 30 days of hire. Must hold or obtain tow motor certification within 30 days of hire and maintain continuously.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
