Required Overview A growing industrial manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing operations at its Tulsa facility. This role will be responsible for production planning, team leadership, safety, quality, cost control, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing leadership experience and a background in HVAC, air-cooled heat exchangers, heat transfer equipment, or similar industrial manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily production operations and ensure schedules and customer deadlines are met. Manage and optimize labor, materials, equipment, and other production resources. Monitor labor, material, and overhead costs and identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve profitability. Lead, train, coach, and develop production personnel while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and accountability. Ensure products meet company quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry specifications. Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve defects and improve manufacturing processes. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and increased productivity using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance. Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime. Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Sales, Quality, and other departments to support production objectives. Interface with customers as needed regarding production updates and manufacturing-related issues. Develop and manage production budgets while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and margins. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. 5-7+ years of production or manufacturing management experience. Experience in HVAC, air-cooled heat exchangers, heat transfer equipment, or related industrial manufacturing strongly preferred. Proven experience leading manufacturing teams and managing production operations. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and production scheduling. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Work Environment This position will split time between office and manufacturing environments. PPE, including hearing protection, safety glasses, and OSHA-compliant safety footwear, is required while working in the manufacturing facility. The role may occasionally require lifting up to 25-30 pounds and requires the ability to walk through the manufacturing facility and spend extended periods sitting or standing.
