BRIAN'S CABINETS
•
BEND, OREGON
Production Supervisor Full-time | Bend, OR — On-site | 3+ years experience Position Summary Brian's Cabinets, backed by Permanent Equity, is a fast-growing custom cabinet, closet, and millwork manufacturer running one production shift with up to 45 total production employees. This role provides direct, hands-on floor leadership for 4 departments (~9+ employees), closing the leadership gap between crew-level work and department-level accountability. This position is on the floor for the full shift (not in an office) managing the people and maintaining a smooth flow through each department. Success is measured contribution to the shop's on-time completion rate, defect/rework rate, and throughput, tracked on our Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) scorecard. Key Responsibilities Be physically present on the production floor for the full shift across multiple departments as the primary point of contact for crew questions, problems, and escalations. Directly supervise, train, and coach production staff; own daily attendance, task assignment, and performance issues. Run daily start-of-shift huddles; communicate priorities, changes, and problem jobs before they become delays.
Clean up schedule:
Sweep, empty garbage cans, put tools back where they go at the end of every shift day.
Daily Maintenance:
Preventative machine maintenance, clean, grease, vacuum out, every Friday. Catch defects and quality issues at the department level, before they move downstream. Identify recurring quality issues and work with the Operations Manager on root-cause fixes. Requirements 3+ years leading a production team in a manufacturing environment; cabinetry, millwork, or wood products preferred. Experience supervising a crew of 10+ across more than one workstation or department. Strong floor presence — comfortable directing, correcting, and coaching people in person, in real time, on a shift. Working knowledge of the machinery and flow processes Able to read and act on basic production data (schedule, backlog, defect counts) without needing it translated. Clear, direct communicator with crew and with peer supervisors. Exposure to lean manufacturing principles (5S, waste reduction) in a wood products or custom manufacturing setting preferred Apply at indeed.com or send your resume to careers@brianscabinets.com
