AIM Production Supervisor ARC Document Solutions is seeking an AIM Production Supervisor to oversee our swing shift production team and coordinate all activities related to document scanning services for paper-to-digital conversion projects. This role is responsible for supervising daily production operations, ensuring high standards of quality control, and managing workflow to meet production schedules and project deadlines. Job Responsibilities Follow directions from AIM Center manager, plan and direct production activities and establish priorities for customer project in keeping with effective operations and cost factors Confer with management to establish production and quality control standards and procedures Review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems Revise production schedules and clarify priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems Coordinate shift transition with the night Manager and assigned departments Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment Monitor records and report inventory Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise 2 to 15 employees and temporary/contractual staff within their assigned responsibilities. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems Communicate company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations Interpret specifications and job orders to workers and assigns duties Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals Perform activities supervised when necessary Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding and offboarding temporary hires May assist with approving time sheets and requests for time off, in Dayforce Responsibilities Maintain time and production records. Implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems, improve product quality and workflow Be a team player Assist AIM Center Manager and follow directions Abide by all company rules and regulations Conscientious and consistent effort to quickly and accurately complete each task according to the company's productivity standard Qualifications and Experience Academic Diploma in related field or higher will be a plus. And/or 1 + year related experience Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business guidelines and technical procedures Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Working knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Adobe Acrobat Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Conditions Work in a secure facility with no access to mobile phones during production hours. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
