Quality Supervisor

- Portland, OR Our client is a leading fluid transfer manufacturer, supplier, and distributor seeking a Quality Supervisor to join the team.
This hands-on quality professional will oversee quality assurance and quality control activities through inspection, testing, validation, documentation, and analysis of manufacturing processes. The Quality Supervisor will also support workplace safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary subject matter resource for quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance requirementsDevelop, implement, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Management System (QMS) proceduresOversee quality activities involving inspection, testing, validation, documentation, and analysis of manufacturing processesCoordinate the company safety program and support workplace safety and compliance initiativesMaintain quality documentation, procedures, records, and related compliance requirementsIdentify quality and process improvement opportunities and lead Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) initiativesPerform root cause analysis and support corrective actions to improve product quality and manufacturing process performanceSupport quality audits and ongoing regulatory compliance activitiesMaintain OSHA logs and required safety documentationWork cross-functionally with other departments to drive continuous improvement, quality, safety, and compliance initiatives
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in quality control, quality management, or related safety experience within a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), root cause analysis, audits, and regulatory complianceAbility to work independently on quality initiatives and cross-functionally with other departmentsHands-on approach to quality, manufacturing problem-solving, process improvement, and maintaining compliance
Compensation:
Base salary in the 75k
