division is currently seeking a Production Lead - 1st Shift to join the Wilsonville, OR site. The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive plan.

What you'll do: The team lead provides manufacturing expertise, support, and direction within the assigned area. This role partners with the supervisor and VSM to coordinate, facilitate, and motivate team activities to meet or exceed High 5 objectives across safety, quality, delivery, cost, lean, and efficiency. Team leads model Eaton leadership behaviors by setting clear expectations and consistently demonstrating strong safety practices, ethical conduct, operational discipline, urgency, quality focus, standard work, 5S, product knowledge, effective communication, and professional presence.
In this function you will:
Be the owner of accurate, up to date area Tier 1 boards and scheduling tools; Responsible for effective Tier 1 meetings Collaborate with line other leads, Production Line Control (PLC), and line Supervisor to flex labor as needed Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and PLC to identify and resolve production interrupters Communicate Manufacturing Change Notices (MCNs) and ensure all posted area documentation is current and accurate. Responsible for effective QC process in area, and application on DMR and NCR process. Participate in line level CI initiatives (such as 5S and kaizen events) and facilitate problem solving with your team. Utilize Leader Standard Work (LSW) to manage daily activities and priorities
Qualifications:
Required:
High School diploma from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment Previous experience using Microsoft Excel Eaton will not consider applicants for employment, immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Preferred:
Experience using Gantt Charts and Production Scheduling processes Experience working with wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, schematics, bills of material, and change notices Experience working with KANBAN and inventory allocation systems Experience with quality control systems and reports
