Job Description
Supervises the planning, scheduling, setting up, and running of routine and production streams. Job Requirements Model TE behavior-based safety practices to promote a safe culture and compliance to worksite policies Supervise the manufacture of products to quality standards, ensuring compliance to specifications, internal procedures, and regulatory standards Meet customer expectations for shipping to schedule Meet product cost goals, identify cost saving opportunities, and implement those opportunities Complete leader standard work to ensure processes are working to standard or to escalate appropriately Build an effective team though two-way communication and teamwork within and across shifts Manage, motivate, and develop staff through coaching and performance management, recognizing and rewarding individual and team behaviors as appropriate Collaborate effectively with others across the organization to collectively achieve business objectives Communicate effectively through written, verbal, non-verbal, and visual methods to achieve results Other tasks as assigned What your background should look like Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field or local equivalent 1 year of leadership experience in manufacturing operations; supervisory experience is a plus Demonstrated ability to achieve team results that are aligned with business objectives Demonstrated problem solving in manufacturing operations Demonstrated experience using computer-based systems in a networked environment; working knowledge of Windows OS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; PLM and SAP ERP system experience is a plus
