Assigns tasks and adjusts workloads to meet production goals, schedules and monitors training and assess progress of the employees, monitors production quality and uses leadership skills to solve problems with employees.

As we continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd Shift manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing employees, improving processes, and driving production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Position Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily production operations on 2nd shift while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and employee performance standards are met. This individual will supervise production employees, coordinate staffing levels, track daily headcount, work closely with multiple staffing agencies, and partner with Maintenance and Quality to drive operational excellence throughout the facility. Responsibilities Supervise and lead production employees on 2nd shift Ensure daily production goals and schedules are met Promote and enforce a safe work environment Monitor product quality and ensure company standards are maintained Train, coach, and develop employees Hold team members accountable for attendance, performance, productivity, and company policies Track daily attendance and headcount, including employees from multiple staffing agencies, and communicate staffing needs to HR and leadership Coordinate with leadership to ensure adequate staffing levels and report attendance or performance concerns Partner with Maintenance and Quality to minimize downtime and resolve production issues Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and improve workflow Complete production reports and communicate shift updates to leadership Support company policies and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment required Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to coach employees, solve problems, and make sound decisions Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement is a plus Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems preferred Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Weekly pay on Fridays Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance after 90 days Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Career advancement opportunities with a growing manufacturer Why Join Custom Filters Direct?
