Production Supervisor -
Remanufacturing Pay:
$45,000-$65,000 per year
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, day shift

On-site in Carlisle, PA About FSIP Electronics Flight Systems Industrial Products (FSIP Electronics) specializes in the remanufacturing, repair, and production of electronic and electromechanical products serving the industrial equipment and electric vehicle industries. Position Summary FSIP Electronics is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our Remanufacturing team. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising employees and coordinating daily remanufacturing operations while ensuring production, quality, safety, and turnaround goals are achieved. Our Remanufacturing operation differs from a traditional manufacturing or assembly line. The work involves the disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing of existing products, requiring a supervisor who is comfortable managing varied workflows, troubleshooting day-to-day production challenges, and adjusting priorities as needed. Previous experience directly supervising or leading employees in a production, repair, remanufacturing, technical, or similar operational environment is required. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily remanufacturing operations, including disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing. Lead, coach, train, and support employees, including assigning daily work and providing performance feedback. Coordinate daily workload and priorities to meet production, quality, and turnaround expectations. Allocate employees, equipment, and materials based on changing workload and operational needs. Monitor workflow and address day-to-day production or operational issues. Ensure products meet customer and internal quality standards and required inspection and testing procedures. Address defects, rework, and nonconformances and support corrective actions and process improvements. Promote a safe work environment and ensure employees follow safety policies, PPE requirements, and applicable procedures. Support inventory and material flow, product availability, waste reduction, and component traceability. Identify workflow inefficiencies and support 5S, standardized work, and continuous improvement efforts. Required Qualifications Previous experience directly supervising or leading employees in a production, remanufacturing, repair, electronics, technical, industrial, or similar operational environment. Experience managing daily workflow, assigning work, setting priorities, and providing employee coaching and performance feedback. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to balance employee leadership with changing production and operational priorities. Experience working in electronics, equipment repair, remanufacturing, technical operations, industrial equipment, automotive, or a related environment is preferred. Familiarity with quality processes, 5S, Lean principles, or continuous improvement is helpful. Associate or bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred; significant relevant supervisory and technical experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. What We're Looking For We are looking for a hands-on supervisor who is comfortable being involved in the day-to-day operation and working closely with employees. This person should be able to organize work, set clear expectations, coach employees, address problems as they arise, and keep the department moving toward its daily goals.

The right candidate does not need to come from a traditional manufacturing environment. Experience leading employees in remanufacturing, repair, electronics, technical production, service operations, or another hands-on operational setting may translate well to this position.
