Experience Requirements Minimum of 2-5 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment CNC programming, CNC operation, and machining experience required Experience setting up and operating CNC lathe machines, including turning, drilling, bar feeding, and live tooling Ability to read blueprints, follow written instructions, and complete reports accurately Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and performance management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software Job Duties Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, including Hyundai, Mori, Yugi, and HAAS equipment Oversee day-to-day department operations and production workflow Prioritize shop orders to meet customer and production deadlines Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate team members Maintain a strong shop floor presence throughout the shift Collaborate with management and other departments to support manufacturing goals Identify process improvement opportunities and improve operational efficiency Resolve production, quality, safety, and personnel concerns promptly Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and equipment Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work around machining equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, tooling, and components weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity to safely operate CNC machinery and precision measuring equipment.
