$65,000 - $85,000 per year Job Details - Key Responsibilities and Duties Supervise daily production operations within assigned department (Tray Pack, Debone, Processing, Whole Bird Packaging, Evisceration, etc.) Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand. Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to customer specifications. Track production yields, labor utilization, efficiencies, and downtime. Drive Lean Manufacturing and Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives. Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, USDA, OSHA, EEO, and company policies. Maintain production records and HACCP documentation. Work closely with Maintenance and Plant leadership to maximize equipment uptime. Manage staffing, scheduling, attendance, and line coverage. Train, coach, mentor, and develop 25-50 production employees. Conduct team meetings and ongoing employee training. Promote workplace safety and enforce safety procedures. Build positive working relationships with USDA inspectors and plant leadership. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and increased efficiencies.
Qualifications Needed:
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in meat processing or food manufacturing. Strong background in poultry processing or food manufacturing operations. Experience with USDA, HACCP, and GMP compliance. Experience supervising production employees in a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to improve production efficiencies, labor utilization, and product quality. Experience managing production schedules and staffing. Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
