Production Supervisor

• 80,000 Second Shift Mon-Friday 3pm-11pm Manpower is assisting a busy manufacturer local to Hanover in hiring a Production Supervisor to join their amazing team of professionals! The right candidate should come from an Industrial Manufacturer and have prior exposure to CNC equipment. Key Responsibilities (include and are not limited to):
• Independently analyzes product and equipment specifications and performance Day-to-day meeting of the production goals while maintaining both Quality and Safety standards.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager for resource analysis and capacity planning.
• Plan and assign work according to changing priorities.
• Motivate machine operators to accomplish production goals.
• Initiate Production System to improve product flow.
• Train, mentor and supervise the machine operators for continued improvement of skills and development of human capital.
• Perform defect root cause analysis and mitigation.
• Perform product margin analyses.
• Perform departmental administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum education HSD or GED; associate or bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-years supervisory experience in manufacturing setting.
• Experience in managing and inspiring direct reports.
• Union experience preferred.
• Due to the nature of work, only US persons will be considered for role.
• Ability to train on 1st and 3rd shift.

Skills, Knowledge & Other Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing very tight tolerance parts.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and high confidence in providing recommendations.
