First Shift, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM for approximately 2-3 weeks Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead a production team in a fast-paced environment. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and according to quality and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards while providing leadership, direction, and support to employees. The selected candidate will initially work First Shift from 7:00 AM-3:00 PM for approximately 2-3 weeks for training . Following successful completion of the training period, the candidate will transition to the Second Shift schedule. Key Responsibilities Supervise, coach, and provide direction to production employees on a daily basis. Coordinate production activities to ensure schedules, output goals, quality standards, and GMP requirements are met. Monitor employee performance, attendance, productivity, and adherence to company policies. Ensure employees follow all safety, sanitation, quality, and GMP procedures. Train and develop team members on production processes, equipment, quality standards, GMP requirements, and safety procedures. Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality. Communicate production goals, priorities, and expectations to employees. Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Management to resolve production issues. Troubleshoot operational issues and take appropriate corrective action. Complete production reports, documentation, and other required records accurately and on time. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with GMP requirements. Assist with staffing, scheduling, and employee coverage as needed. Enforce company policies and procedures consistently and fairly. Promote teamwork, accountability, food/product safety, and a positive workplace culture. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Working knowledge and understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is required. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to effectively coach, train, and motivate employees. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet production deadlines. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation. Ability to work the required Second Shift schedule following the initial training period. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or manufacturing education is a plus. Training & Shift Transition The selected candidate will be required to train on First Shift from 7:00 AM-3:00 PM for approximately 2-3 weeks . The training period will allow the candidate to become familiar with production processes, equipment, team members, safety procedures, GMP requirements, quality expectations, and company policies. Upon completion of the training period, the Production Supervisor will transition to the Second Shift on a regular basis.
Compensation Pay Rate:
$25.00 per hour Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment. Ability to occasionally lift, move, or handle materials as required. Ability to safely navigate the production floor and respond to operational needs.
