2nd Shift Fabrication Lead - Steel Manufacturing Full-Time | 2nd Shift We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Fabrication Lead to oversee evening operations at our steel pipe fabrication facility. This position is responsible for leading production personnel, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining high standards for quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment and possess strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities during the 2nd shift. Plan and organize workflow to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements. Monitor production output and ensure quality standards are consistently achieved. Ensure materials, manpower, and equipment are utilized efficiently. Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures. Lead, coach, and develop fabrication shop employees to maximize performance. Address employee concerns and work closely with management to resolve workplace issues. Monitor equipment performance and assist in troubleshooting production challenges. Maintain production records and communicate shift performance to management. Foster a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Assist with training new employees and developing existing team members. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Fabrication Supervisor, or similar leadership role in a manufacturing environment. Experience managing production employees and coordinating shop operations. Strong understanding of fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial production processes. Knowledge of workplace safety practices and quality control procedures. Proven ability to lead teams, build accountability, and drive results. Excellent communication, organizational, and people management skills. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to adapt to changing production demands and schedules. Proficiency with production reporting and basic computer systems. Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime or weekends as required. Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
