Position Summary You will lead operations for a team of operators and technicians that build some of the most advanced electronics in our defense industry. Electronic Combat Solutions is looking to add a Value Stream Specialist to our operations team and this may be the role for you! The Value Stream Specialist (VSS) reports to the Product Stream Manager and will assist in leading the factory to success across our production programs. The VSS is responsible for managing a team of operators and technicians towards achieving all factory demands and daily operations. This individual will interface daily with our Process Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program teams to ensure that the factory is set up for success each and every day, while also working to eliminate waste from the value stream and driving towards zero defects. The VSS not only leads their team of operators, but they also own the product being built in the factory. The candidate for this role will learn everything there is to know about microwave manufacturing at BAE Systems, as well as gain insight into the engineering and program functions from an operations standpoint. The VSS is the "go-to" person within the factory and assumes all responsibility for daily operations within their team. As a Supervisor supporting our Microwave Factory you will make impacts in the following ways: Ownership of daily operations within factory Management of operators and technicians Monitors, influences, and tracks production to achieve all delivery milestones Partners with Supply Chain team to ensure material flow supports factory production demands Collaborates with Process Engineering to find root cause of defects and drive continuous improvement initiatives Ensures factory is adhering to all command media and compliance requirements Participates and helps lead audits, both internal and

Evaluates staffing levels and supports Product Stream Manager in hiring effort Requirements Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree, or an Associate's Degree with 2+ years experience, or 4+ years experience in lieu of a degree Secret Clearance Leadership or mentoring experience Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Excellent communication and leadership skills - ability to motivate others Understanding of basic Lean Manufacturing principles Ability to communicate status of production and articulate delivery projections on a weekly/monthly basis Experience with Microsoft Excel Ability to lead daily factory status meetings Leadership within a microwave manufacturing environment Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range:
$56401 - $95881 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
