Job Description

The Sr. Operations Lead position is located in Dixon, IL and will facilitate daily performance, including but not limited to safety, quality, delivery, and cost, of one or more departments/areas to meet Company objectives. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Thursday, 4:00am to 2:00pm. and every other Friday.
Role Responsibilities :
Supervising and leading assigned production department including assignment of work. Promoting teamwork. Completing performance management process for all hourly employees. Scheduling work and ensure equipment is maintained. Assisting with development and management of the department's budget. Coaching employees through the problem solving process to identify problem. areas including manufacturing processes, reducing set up time, equipment problems and reducing scrap. Training employees on procedures, methods, problem solving, prints, programming, quality requirements, team methods and safety. Educating employees in the safety requirements of their department and Plant. Coaching operators on safety improvements, department inspections, safety surveys and follows up on safety issues. Auditing product quality for compliance with established systems and standards; implements corrective action as necessary. Maintaining quality certification requirements and initiatives. Resolving employee relation issues through effective remediation techniques. Promoting and implementing Lean Manufacturing initiatives Assisting with achieving Plant Metrics including but not limited to Earned Hours Worked and Safety. Administering corrective action as needed per plant policy and guidelines.Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) 3-5 years of production leadership experience Previous team lead or leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of equipment and/or machine operation Must have working knowledge of Oracle and MS Office Applications Effective communication skills (verbal and written) Demonstration of strong judgment and thinking skills Leadership (performance management, accountability, conflict management, motivation & influence, feedback)Preferred Qualifications:

$30.90 Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance. This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.
