Carolina Pick N Pull is a self-service auto dismantling and recycling company with 3 locations in the Carolina's focused on Green Automotive Recycling.
General Position Summary:
Supervise all phases of store production operations to ensure goals are met safely and efficiently. Responsible for monitoring all store production functions to conform to company policies. Ensure store operates both safely and environmentally compliant, while effectively and efficiently working within the guidelines of the administrative policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
Promote a clean, safe, and environmentally compliant store for employees and customers. Responsible for store housekeeping. Responsible for the proper care and maintenance of all equipment, reporting equipment problems, and adherence to the preventative maintenance/repair program. Work with all sales and production personnel to continually improve store results and execute company strategies. Participate in the hiring, training, and proper delegation of personnel and scheduling work hours. Monitor and evaluate job performance; train and develop production staff. Communicate and implement policies and procedures; lead by example for the rest of the team. Direct and participate, as needed, in customer care functions. Participate, as needed, in production duties. Monitor all aspects of production activities to ensure production goals are met. Partner with all internal corporate support resources to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations to achieve results. All other duties as assigned. Required Skills This position will supervise/direct the selection, training, development, appraisal and work assignments of non-exempt hourly employees.
Job Conditions:
Exposure on a regular basis to outdoor weather conditions. Periodic exposure to minimal chemical hazards.
Required Experience Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 3-5 years previous automotive salvage yard experience. Strong people skills with an outgoing, friendly, positive attitude. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Able to handle multiple competing tasks and priorities, and perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision. 3-5 years of front end loader operation experience. Basic mechanical skills. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products. Able to work required hours which may include weekends and holidays. Previous experience supervising production, construction or operations processes in a similar work environment with related employees. Experience in scheduling employees in a production environment. Previous experience in an automotive field.
