$72,000 - $85,000 per year Job Details - We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced Quality Supervisor to join our team in the rubber manufacturing industry. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to oversee and improve quality control processes, ensuring the consistent production of high-quality rubber products. The successful candidate will be a critical player in driving our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
As a Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for: 1. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the quality control department, ensuring all activities comply with safety and quality standards. 2. Utilizing measurement equipment to conduct thorough inspections and tests on rubber products, ensuring each product meets the strict quality specifications. 3. Implementing and promoting lean manufacturing principles throughout the production process, driving efficiency and minimizing waste. 4. Conducting Root Cause Analysis to identify and understand the reasons behind faults or problems. 5. Developing and implementing effective Corrective Actions to address identified quality issues, preventing recurrence and ensuring continuous improvement. 6. Training and mentoring quality control staff, fostering a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement. 7. Collaborating with other departments to establish quality requirements from external suppliers. 8. Generating and presenting regular reports on quality standards, issues, and improvements to senior management.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following: 1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a quality control role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in rubber manufacturing. 2. Demonstrated experience with measurement equipment, lean manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective Actions. 3. A bachelor's degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering, or a related field. 4. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to effectively manage a team. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. 6. Strong knowledge of quality control standards and legislation in the rubber manufacturing industry. 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 8. Proficiency in using quality control software and related technologies. 9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 10.
