2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead 2nd shift operations in a fast-paced production environment. This position is responsible for supervising employees, maintaining production goals, enforcing safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Work Schedule
Candidates must be available to work:
Monday thru Friday, 3:00pm to 11:00pm
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and provide direction to production employees during the weekend night shift.
Ensure production, quality, safety, and delivery goals are achieved.
Assign work, monitor employee performance, and address attendance or performance concerns.
Conduct shift-start meetings and communicate production priorities.
Ensure employees follow established safety procedures and company policies.
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, materials, and other departments to resolve production issues.
Train, coach, and develop team members.
Complete shift reports and communicate issues to management and the incoming shift.
Support continuous improvement, waste reduction, and productivity initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following experience requirements:
Three to five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility, or
Five to ten years of team-lead experience in a manufacturing facility
Additional requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work 2nd shift, 3:00pm to 11:00pm
Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Previous automotive manufacturing experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Bachelor's degree
Experience working in a high-volume or fast-paced production environment
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
