Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Quality Supervisor to oversee quality inspection and containment activities at customer facilities. This position is responsible for coordinating personnel, supporting customer requirements, maintaining accurate reporting and inventory controls, and ensuring inspection activities are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. The Quality Supervisor works closely with the Operations Manager, Team Leads, Quality Inspectors, customers, and internal logistics teams to meet quality and production requirements. Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch personnel to customer facilities based on production and inspection demands.
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee access to customer work sites.
  • Oversee daily inspection, sorting, rework, and containment activities.
  • Create and maintain work instructions.
  • Train inspectors and maintain documentation of completed training.
  • Ensure compliance with required safety equipment and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal logistics teams for material movement.
  • Manage physical and system-based inventory counts.
  • Manage and monitor inspection cycle counts.
  • Review and validate rejected material.
  • Ensure defective and nonconforming products are properly identified and segregated.
  • Manage stock replenishment processes.
  • Oversee reporting and validate data for accuracy.
  • Manage subordinate job assignments in Paylocity.
  • Address questions, concerns, and operational issues raised by customers.
  • Communicate staffing, production, quality, and operational concerns to management.
  • Enforce company and customer policies and procedures. Key Performance Expectations
  • Establish and sustain effective clean points/quality containment for customers.
  • Meet customer and production demands.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting.
  • Ensure inspection teams consistently follow established work instructions and quality requirements.
  • Maintain safe, organized, and efficient operations. Qualifications & Competencies
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Quality background.
  • Math and data-gathering skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Disciplined and structured.
  • Ability to work under pressure. Work Requirements Must be willing to travel to different job sites within the assigned area as needed.
  • Must be flexible and able to commute to different customer job sites based on operational needs.
  • Business mileage is paid according to company policy.
  • Ability to follow established instructions and procedures.
  • Ability to enforce company and customer policies. Physical Requirements This position may require:
  • Sitting approximately 2 hours per day.
  • Standing approximately 4-5 hours per day.
  • Walking approximately 2 hours per day.
  • Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
  • Pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
  • Reaching, kneeling, and bending.
  • Keyboarding and computer use.
  • Close visual inspection work.
  • Good vision and hearing.
  • Speaking and communicating with employees, customers, and management.
  • Climbing as required by the work environment.
  • Performing physically demanding duties and assisting with heavier material handling when necessary and with appropriate assistance.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
